In September, SANYA is blessed with blue seas, clear skies and refreshing coconut breezes. Today, we gather in this charming coastal city to kick off the 11th Global Logistics Cooperation Conference. On behalf of the organizer, TOBECAN , I would like to extend our warmest welcome and sincerest gratitude to every guest who has traveled across mountains and seas to be here as promised. We extend our heartfelt gratitude and sincere respect to the Sanya Bureau of Commerce and Sanya Investment Promotion Bureau for their great support of this conference!
Three months ago in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, I extended the invitation for you all to attend the 11th Global Logistics Cooperation Conference. Today, that invitation has come to fruition.
We chose Sanya not only for its clear waters, white sand beaches and beautiful mountain-sea scenery, but also because it stands at the forefront of China’s opening-up.On December 18 last year, the Hainan Free Trade Port officially completed customs closure operation. Since then, Hainan has become a prime destination for investment and business development. Aligned with high-level international economic and trade rules, Hainan Free Trade Port has released multiple high-impact policies for trade and investment liberalization and facilitation. It underpins the building of a globally oriented supply chain hub to boost enterprise development. More than tangible tax cuts, it delivers comprehensive upgrades with lower business operating costs, improved cross-border trade efficiency, expanded international cooperation channels and bigger market potential. Sanya in Hainan is emerging as a new pivot connecting China with global markets. We stand ready to be this “ferryman”, helping enterprises seize the initiative and share dividends amid the historic opportunities of the Hainan Free Trade Port.
Standing here at the opening ceremony today and seeing old and new friends, I am filled with emotion. Since 2019, TOPONE has come nearly seven years. Seven years ago, we were founded amid the toughest days of the global pandemic, standing side by side with our first one hundred Founding Members. Today, we have grown into a comprehensive service platform with a team of hundreds, serving nearly 20,000 enterprises worldwide. Many long-term partners have shared with me that the international logistics industry has become increasingly challenging, the opportunities are greater than ever, and I agree, yet I also see another side to the story. Outdated business modes are collapsing and market landscape is being reshuffled, forcing enterprises to transform for survival. Yet opportunities lie precisely within this market reshuffle. Meanwhile, growing global trade volume and booming demands from emerging markets are creating vast new prospects. Those who take the lead in shifting from “going it alone” to “sticking together” will seize the upper hand in the new landscape. Opportunities belong to those who act ahead of the curve. We firmly believe: markets go through cycles, but trust does not. On this occasion, please allow me to express my heartfelt thanks to our long-standing member enterprises and supportive global partners. Thank you all! Finally, on behalf of the organizer TOPONE , thank you once again for your presence. At the same time, we cordially invite you to attend the 12th Conference to be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from November 10 to 12 this year, as well as the Ho Chi Minh Conference next March and the Jakarta Conference in Indonesia next June. We also hope you will take time outside the conference to walk the beaches of Yalong Bay, explore off‑shore duty‑free stores and authentic Hainan cuisine. May you strike good deals and make true friends.
